because God has poured out his LOVE into our hearts by the Holy Spirit..." Romans 5:5

Inspirational Words

It's official.
My baby girl is growing up!
sniff.
*
We celebrated her 6th grade graduation
this past Thursday evening.
It was absolutely lovely!
The guys and gals looked so stunning.
And it was so sweet to see all of them
going from friend to friend
for photo opts and hugs.
Ahhh, to be young.
*
As part of my gift to my daughter,
I covered a little book of
inpsirational words
for her.
I fell in love with what the book
had to say but didn't really like the cover.
So I (being a paper crafter
who will alter anything
that doesn't move after ten seconds)
I covered the cover.
*
I just LOVE the way it turned out.
It is SO Wynne!
And she loved it! Yeah!

My sweet daughter got scratched
in one of her
last basketball games of the season.
OUCH!
She didn't even know.
She just kept right on playing...
blood running down her check and all.
Ya, blood! ick. It was a nastly scratch!

Ephesians 3:16

For my "tweet" little birdie,
I stamped in a Basic Gray
and used my aquapainter
with So Saffron to color him in.
His wing is stamped in
Real Red and colored in
with a Cameo Coral marker.
*
I love how the stitching
matches the stitching of the ribbon.
Cute, huh?
I actually hate my
Provo Craft sewing machine
because the straight stitch
is NEVER straight.
But (funny enough)
I always end up liking the finish project.
This one is no exception. Hm.

TTS Sketch #58

I am IN LOVE with this adorable can!
Yep, a veggie can!
I love making these to packag my gifts.
And as most of you know,
I truly believe the pkg is a gift in itself.
*
By removing the bottom with
a safety seal can opener,
you can then glue it back on with
Crystal Effects
for a fancy little gift package.

TTS Sketch #57

So Silly!
and so sensationally simple!
That's my take on Sketch #57!
Thanks, Patter at Triple the Sketch!
*
The Princess and I were being
so silly
with these pops.
We were celebrating
our Risen Lord, Jesus Christ!
Hallelujah!
I believe there is a time and a place
to be respectful and reverent,
but I also believe
He wants us to enjoy life and have fun.
Psalm 66:1
We can do that out loud, in spirit,
or even in a photograph.
*
So go ahead...
"Make a joyful noise!"

Retired Stamp Sets

"Be Happy"
An oldie but a goodie!
I LOVE this stamp set!
But it's no longer available.
Oh, you MIGHT be able to find it
on some auction site and
you MIGHT pay a fortune for it.
This is why it is so important to
be considering which sets
you'd like to invest in
BEFORE they retire.
Of course we can't
BUY THEM ALL.
he he he...
But those ones you've really
had your eye on for a long time
are the ones you will want to
be ready for when
Stampin' Up!
releases the Retiring List.
*
Keep in mind this is the perfect reason
to join STAMP CLUB.
I keep many of my retired sets
for you to use while you
attend our monthly club gatherings.
It's a special perk for members
as well as visitors.
ANYONE can attend club.
Email me for more info today!
This card is so simple to create!
Begin with a piece measuring
6x9.
Score this piece at 3" and 3".
Trim one end of the scored card.
I chose to trim mine in a wave pattern.
Decorate as desired.
Just email me if you have ?s!
*
Enjoy the dance!

Royal Wednesday Blog Hop

If you just came from
you've hopped to the right place.
*
I do hope your Wednesday is
royally divine, dear friends.
Today is our blog hop over at
(thus my title.)
How about this sweet sweet
SPACE GIRL!
She's super cute!
Especially with flowers
to replace her outerspace stars. he he.
Stumped on making a card?
Not sure where to start on that
scrapbook page?
Challenges always spark my creativity!
Check out the Royal Wed Challenge at
every Wednesday.
*
A quick TY for the prayers
sent up for my little sweetie!
I am so touched by the comments
left for her sake. TY again and again!
She is better... well, at least no pain.
And she just left me for her
very first over-night retreat!
sniff sniff (no really, sniff!)
Honestly, she is such a great gal...
fun, funny, silly,
but serious when she knows to be.
How God has sweetly blessed me!
My prayers are for YOUR blessings
to be magnified for you today
and that your praises will
bless our Heavenly Father!
*
Now... be blessed and
hop on over to
for more inspiration.

Box Ideas

Stampin' Up! use to offer sheets of
precut boxes in their catalog.
Do you remember that?
I LOVED those boxes!
I still have a ton of the sheets
in my own stash of paper craft supplies.
I just love them!
*
So I whipped up a few ideas for you.
Even if you don't have
these sheets of precut boxes,
I hope these ideas will inspire
you on any of your packaging items.
Just be creative!

If you do have these sheets,
you will notice that I took one box
and cut it in half to create
the two boxes seen here.
One box was vanilla,
the other was navy, of course.
But you get the idea.

For the one seen below,
I simply eliminated part of the
top portion of the box.

Enjoy your day and
thanks for dancing with me!

Remembering...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this page!
Today has been a bit yucky
so I went back through some of my
page ideas that haven't been
uploaded and (appropriately so)
stumbled upon this one first.
Appropriately so because...
my sweet little (okay, not so little anymore) gal
has a severe ear infection today
and is home in major pain.
Last night was really rough.
After seeing the doctor, picking up meds,
and a little lovin' on the couch,
she is finally feeling restful.
So I thought I would jump on
and ask for prayers while sharing.
*
This page is of my baby girl's
first day of school.
How sweet!
She is considered a "senior"
and will "graduate" this year.
I can not believe it!!!
I plan to get a picture of her
on her last day as she walks
into the building just like
she did so many years ago.
Whoa! That will be a tough page
to scrapbook!
*
But isn't that what scrapbooking is all about?!
Saving cherished memories, right?!
I can't wait to look back
on these pages with her and tell her
how great our God is for
giving her to me.
*
If you don't scrapbook,
you may want to consider
attending my
New Way to Scrapbook event on
May 21st from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.
It's a great way to "get started"
and save your own cherished moments.
*
Thanks for dancing with me today!
Please lift my sweetie in prayer
if your prayer time has room for it.
