"Box"tober

Check out the fun you can have this October... I mean "Box"tober! Create each of these boxes for only $5 each. Every Tuesday evening in Box-tober, we will create one of these fun and useful little boxes. Originally created to house cards and be given as a gift, these fun little boxes can hold anything your heart desires. Fill one with a lotion set, small stuffed animal (webkinz are HUGE at our home,) homemade snacks, etc. They are great for all of your gift giving, not to mention your own card filing. And each one is only $5 for you to create! You will want to get your friends in on these Stamp Camps!

Tuesday, October 2... Tuesday, October 9... Tuesday, October 16... and Tuesday, October 23 from 6:30 to 8:00pm. Come to one class or come to all four. When you register to attend all four camps, you are invited to a Stamp-a-Stack Camp for only $5 the last Tuesday of the month, October 30 from 6:30 to 8:00pm. What is a Stamp-a-Stack? At this camp, you will create ten coordinating cards to accompany any of your fun little boxes.

You MUST preregister with payment EARLY for these camps. There will be no registrations taken after September 23. Space is limited so reserve yours NOW. Call or email me right away!

Be sure to attend the Rescue Rally on Saturday, September 8th at Providence Retirement Center from 12:00noon to 4:00pm. There will be so many fun things to do for you and your family (and your pets if you choose to bring them!) A local professional photographer will even be there to take a family portrait of you and your two as well as your four legged family members. I, along with many other vendors, will be there so please ask your friends to visit and stop by my booth (PLEASE.) I WILL BE RAFFLING THESE BOXES AS A SET AND DONATING THE PROCEEDS TO THE PET RESCUE PROGRAM FOR OUR AREA. You can create these fun boxes at the Box-tober camps and win a set as well. How fun would that be?!

Stampin' Up! is up to SO good!

We've all heard of being up to "no" good but not Stampin' Up! and certainly not in this case! This set is called "Holy Triptych" and will be available from the Holiday Mini Collections debuting September 1st. Listen up... ALL SETS IN THIS MINI AS WELL AS FUTURE MINIS WILL BE DIE CUT ready for you to mount and use. Is this such fantastic news?! No cutting (at least not from the mini collections.) Could this be a direction for the annual collections as well? Hmm... time will only tell.

I absolutely LOVE this set! It was so easy to use and I see so many possibilities with it, especially bookmarks! Below, you can see how I used my Hobby Blade to create a window for my Holy Family. This is very easy to do and creates such a lovely effect. Remember, if you ever want more details on any project you see on my blog, all you need to do is leave a comment where you see the word "comments" below each post or simply email me.

Most everyone knows that although this set is titled "Holy Triptych," the actual Holy Triptych (or Trinity) is that of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. If you are not familiar with this Trinity, feel free to email me with any of your questions. I am certainly not an expert but I do know Jesus Christ as my Friend and Savior. If I can not answer your questions, His wonderful Holy Spirit will guide us to someone who can. Be sure to check out the Daily Devotional listed to the right. Blessed stamping to you!

Back to School

Back to school ALREADY?! Yes, indeed. It's that time again already. My sweet and adorable daughter needed a "binder" this year. (I can't believe she is old enough to need a BINDER! AGH!) She opted to go for the plain binder with available insert possibility. Every other binder she picked up she would look at me and say, "Mommy, we can stamp one better than this." Good girl! And check it out! SHE certainly did stamp one way better than any we found in the store... and monogramed at that! She was so excited with the finished product. What a wonderful way to start school!
Wynne chose to create her binder with a Simply Scrappin' Kit from Stampin' Up!. These kits make any project fast and so easy. Check out the newest Simply Scrappin' Kits in the online catalog at http://www.stampinup.com/ and call me today to order yours. For her name, Wynne used the Big Deal Alphabet... so cute! Email me and ask me how to get your Simply Scrappin' Kit absolutely FREE!

Style Watch Swapping

I love swapping! It's such a huge part of convention and I can't wait to share the amazing swaps I brought home for all of you. Be sure to attend my Home From Convention Party THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT from 6:30 to 8:00pm. You can view all the great cards and 3D items for tons of ideas. It will be a casual and fun evening. Bring a munchie to share and recieve a gift from me!

You don't have to attend convention to be blessed by the swapping experience. The cards you see above were part of a mailed swap I participated in. All you need to have for a mailed swap is four other excited swappers and one card idea each. You personally create five of the same card, mail them to your hostess (that would be me) and you get back five different card ideas. If you think you would like to try this swapping experience, post in the "comments" area listed below or simply email me for more information.
