Mini Album

How fun is this mini album?!
I used name badge cases for my protector sheets.
These little albums are super fun
and easy to create.
Not to mention, they are super affordable.
I found my badges at Wl Mrt.
I love keeping this album in my purse.
It's much easier (and WAY cuter)
than pulling out my wallet.
Want to give a little "brag book" type of gift?
This is the one!
Grandma will love it!
With the end of school time coming up,
these little albums will make great fun
little autograph books.
Have each classmate sign
his/her own page! Fun!

The Smallest Things

Sometimes the smallest things say SO MUCH.
My sweet and sassy friend, Sabrina,
gave me this little container of lip balm.
I love what it says (cause it is SO true.)
I love what it's for (cause my lips are ALWAYS dry.)
And I love who it's from (cause she ALWAYS makes me laugh.)
I guaruntee you Sabrina
spent no time at all on this sweet little gift.
Take a closer look at it...
She measured the top of the container
and cut cardstock to fit.
(Probably the most teadiest step.)
Then she rounded the corners with a Corner Rounder.
Next she punced a piece using the
Ticket Punch.
And last, she punched the little star image
using the 1/2" Circle Punch.
EASY PEASY!
You can do that!
Now it's your turn...
stamp something sweet for someone TODAY!

Recycled Love

How about that?! My can is an empty cocoa can... yep, recycled! It is so easy to alter any item, most of which we have just in our cabinets (or recycling bins.) And Stampin' Up!'s DSP makes any item even easier to alter. I used the Candy Lane DSP on my can. Just grab some Sticky Strip, trim your papers, and cover! EASY!

For the top of this can, I used the Cutter Kit to destress my Riding Hood Red cardstock. The little hearts were created with the Heart to Heart punch. The Lovey Dovey image can be punched with the Full Heart Punch. Add a bit of Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon and your gift is good to go! Oh wait! Fill it with some chocolate candies first. Now... good to give to anyone on your favorites list. wink.

Want to make your own? Email me with your order for these supplies. Remember it's Sale-A-Bration time with SU! so your order of $50 gets you a free item from the SAB catalog. Just take a peek at it here in my side bar. Click on it and you can see all the free selections. Then email me and I will have your goodies to you ASSAP (as stampingly soon as possible.)

Right at Home Scrapbooking

As many of you may know, I have recently had the blessing to be invited onto the Right at Home Scrapbooking Design Team (check out the online galleries here... http://rightathomescrapbooking.ning.com/.) If this is news to you... you can STILL share in my excitement! With each project I post to my design team gallery, I am amazed to be in such a sweet position! Imagine... the reason I began scrapbooking and stamping to begin with; to share the talents and inspiration of Jesus Christ with others... and now that is opened up to even more than those within my own reach. Praise God!

This scrapbook page is my most recent gallery entry. I LOVE patterned paper! And I really enjoy when it is decorative around the edges (waiting for SU! to jump in on that idea.) However, I always feel a bit guilty when I use only one of these fun papers on one scrapbook layout. I like to make my patterned papers and Design Series Papers stretch as far as possible (since they cost a bit more than regular card stocks.)

I decided to try a little something with this piece of patterned paper and still achieve the look of the entire ppr on my layout. See the following photo for how I cut it and then the next photo for how I used it on my pocket card (inside and out.) Pretty cool, huh?

To create this fun pocket card, simply begin with a 4x12 piece of card stock and score at 4" and 8". On one of the ends, trim away a triangular portion. Fold in the remaining portion and adhere only the bottom to create a pocket. Easy peasy!

Thinkin' Happy

Positive thinking can make the worst of days change in a heartbeat! I truly believe that! I am a positive thinker... I see the cup half full... the grass is greener where I am... a cloudy day is a day I don't have to squint... he he... I could go on and on.

The new DSP (Designer Series Paper) from Stampin' Up! called "Pink Flamingo" makes me happy just looking at it. It is SO FUN! I just can't help but think happy thoughts when I create with it!

I used the Wild About You stamp set as well as the (you guessed it...) Think Happy Thoughts set. The adorable little button is brand new as well... CORDUROY! You can find the buttons on my 176 of the IBC. Just click on the catalog photo in the right hand side bar of my blog to download the Idea Book and Catalog.

Simple... Stamped Up a Step

I love taking a super sweet, super simple, quick and easy card and "STAMPIN' IT UP" a step. If you checked in yesterday, you would have seen this card in a super sweet, super simple style. I LOVE that. Today, I stamped it up a bit by adding some Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon and one of the new Flower Brads. Isn't it amazing how fun yesterday's card was but then how much more fun just a couple of embellishment elements make it?!

So when you're in a hurry, go for those super sweet, super simple, quick and easy cards. Your recipient will think you're the BEST. But when you have the time, "stamp it up" a step or two. Your recipient will think you're the BOMB!

Have a great dance today!

Keeping Me Cracked Up!

Second in my series with the SU! stamp set "Animal Crackers," this card is super simple... super sweet... quick and easy... and perfect for any occassion! LOVE it! This is one of my fav quick cards to create. I mean QUICK! When I am in a pinch, I grab my DSP and make a card with this layout.

My card measures 4x5.1/4. This way, I can cut my 12x12 DSP (Designer Series Paper) at 4" and get three strips out of one sheet. Then by cutting my 4x5.1/4 at the diagonal, I can make six cards out of one sheet of 12x12 DSP. AWESOME!

I also used the Eastern Blooms stamp set to create the little Bashful Blue flowers. My bunny is puched with the 1.3/4" Circle Punch and then backed by a circle created with TWO Round Tab Punched pieces of Riding Hood Red. OH! And my DSP is Washington Apple... such fun paper!

OH ya! Happy Valentine's Day!

Animal Crackers

I am "cracking up" over Stampin' Up!'s
adorable little set titled "Animal Crackers!"
I absolutely LOVE this set!!!
This is my first in a series I will be sharing with you.
I think I might like this
cool little bunny dude the best of the set...
not sure about that since they are all stinkin' cute!
His cute little phrase says,
"ears wishing you a happy day."
Isn't that just perfect for any occassion?!
I also used the new Ribbon Originals on this card.
Check out the new catalog
for all of the hot new stuff!
And be sure to place your SAB order
and pick a free stamp set... or ribbon... or paper.
Email me with any questions.
I'm stamping to serve you!

Buzzin' By One More Time

Here's one more greeting from the "Just Buzzin' By" stamp set from Stampin' Up!. I told you I just LOVE it! For this one, I used my DSP scraps once again. I stamped my bee hive with Close to Cocoa ink onto Confetti White card stock. I also stamped onto Kiwi Kiss card stock and trimmed out the "Hive Sweet Hive" words. The verse and the bees are inked in Chocolate Chip onto Close to Cocoa card stock. And how about that yummy ribbon?! LOVE it!

The Bees are Back!

I'm having such a fun time with these cute little guys! (and yes, I am trying to use up my DSP scraps. he.)

I cased this greeting from one of the New Catalog Swaps, my friend Kelly Smith's to be exact. You can see all of my New Catalog Swaps on a slide show located in my right-hand side bar. You can also see them on my swap groups blog... NMBSwaps. Check it out by clicking here... http://nmbswaps.blogspot.com/ .

Bring on the Bees!

I am in LOVE with this adorable Stampin' Up! set titled "Just Buzzin' By!" I just LOVE it! It is so stinkin' cute and everything I've made with it (so far) has turned out way cuter than I had expected! If you are interested intaking a better look at this set, you can find it on page 57 of the Spring Summer Idea Book and Catalog. If you don't have a copy of this great idea book, just email me and I can send you a copy. This idea book is 208 pages PACKED with ideas and tips for all rubber stamping levels. You can also check it out online by clicking on the Spring Summer Idea Book and Catalog here in my right-hand side bar.

For this cute greeting, I stamped my little bees and flower with Chocolate ChipInk onto So Saffron and Pretty in Pink cardstock. Then I colored them in with a Versamarker (LOVE my V-marker!) Once again (two days in a row,) I utilized my DSP scraps. I trimmed out my honey pot after first coloring it with my markers. I used my Creamy Carmel marker on the entire thing (except the honey and the dipper.) Then I shaded just the left side with my Close to Cocoa marker. And lastly, I used the Aqua Painters to blend it all together. OH! And I covered the honey with some Crystal Effects... it makes the best honey!

If you have any questions about this sample or any other on my blog, please feel free to email me and I will get right back with you. "Have a honey of a day!"

Feeling a bit "LOVEY DOVEY?"

Here is a sweet little greeting for ANY occassion,
not just for Valentine's Day.
It was super simple to create!
1. Use up those DSP (Designer Series Paper) scraps!
2. Punch and punch again! I used the NEW Heart to Heart punch and Baja Breeze CS.
3. Stamp image (this one is from A Little Something) and punch AGAIN! The main image is in Close to Cocoa. I stamped again in Baja Breeze and then trimmed out the "lovey dovey" words.
4. Tie it all together with some ribbon and voila!
Perfect for a friend, lover,
anniversary, wedding, or thinking of you.

Stamp Club Project... THIS SUNDAY!

Stamp Club 2009 is all about STAMPING TECHNIQUES. I am a firm believer that our stamp sets are a true investment just like any other financial investment we make. The more we use and work with our stamps, the better the value of the investment. Therefore, learning stamping techniques and being creative with our stamps is crucial to bettering our investment.

Join us at the first Stamp Club of 2009 this Sunday, February 8th from 2:00 to 6:00pm. Stamp Club is FREE to everyone. A minimum purchase of $15 is required to attend but there is NO FEE. While you are at Stamp Club you will enjoy a FREE MAKE & TAKE (photo shown here) as well as access to nearly 250 sets of Stampin' Up! stamps! Just bring your consumable items such as card stocks, inks, embellishments, adhesive and you are good to go... four hours of uninterupted stampin' pleasure!

Our FREE Stamp Club project for this month uses the CHALKBOARD TECHNIQUE. When you see how easy this dramatic technique is, you will want to use it again and again. Email me for more information and to let me know you plan to attend. Your spot will be saved upon request.
