Here is my second card for our

recent Favorites Swap.

I just love "Puns from the Past"

but just don't use it often enough.

Perhaps because of the vintage sayings

or maybe because of the vintage look.

(My daughter saw this card and said,

"I don't get it." Too stinkin' funny!)

I wanted my card to show that you

don't have to create a "vintage look"

just because the images themselves are.

I "think" I succeeded.

Favorites Swap

As many of you know,

I belong to a fabulous swap group called

the NIMBEES.

Birthdays are for Wii!

Wii crazy... that's my kid! For his B-day he wanted a pair of "Wii PJs" like I don't think he has ever wanted any other gift. Too stinkin' funny, that kid is!

So our lovely friend, Lisa, decided she'd be the one to surprise him with his requested gift. Let me tell you... the kid's b-day was in MARCH and I think I've washed the silly pjs a total of maybe five times. (He hides them on me so I can't wash them. He says he is afraid I won't have them clean in time for bedtime.) Rolling!

Would you believe I actually

used a piece of screen

for my background?!

With a brayer and Very Vanilla Craft Ink,

you can create the same look.

I likey!

My phrase was created on the computer.

Here is a super way to save

on card stock when using the computer...

1. print your verse on reg. typing ppr.

2. cut your card stock to the size needed.

3. using Dotto, adhere precut card stock

over the phrase printed on typing ppr.

4. run the typing ppr back through

so the phrase this time is printed on

the card stock instead.
