Okay, now I am REALLY cyring!!!
My sweet and creative daughter is the one who created
both of my farewell projects for TTS.
You can view yesterday's project as well as TTS sketch #73 here...
and what I JUST realized is...
my daughter's LOs are of her 6th grade farewell banquet!
*
*
OM, I need more tissues!  Seriously!
Why is it that all good things must come to an end?
*
*
Today, I am celebrating through my tears!
I hope you will join me by continuing on the blog hop
and leave a bit of lovin' for all of the TTS gals!
You should be hopping FROM Jen's blog...

In celebration of Patter's new position, her obedience,

Triple the Sketch Farewell

I bring you to your next stop on this fond farewell hop.
You should be hopping FROM Jen's blog...
*
*
and from here you can hop on over to Marcee's blog...
*
But be sure to check out all the info below...
I have some freebies information for you!
*
I simply can not tell you how sad and happy I am at the same time.

Being on the TTS design team was not only my absolute favorite
but it was also the biggest (BIGGEST) blessing.
And with all that SU! has been going through lately,
I was positive I wouldn't be giving up my TTS position.
*
God always has other plans, doesn't He?!
I trust Him completely...
even when I don't like it...
even when it doesn't make sense...
even when.
*
Being a part of CBS myself,
I know what a huge and wonderful position Patter is taking on.
My congratulations go out to not only her but her whole BSF group!
Here's wishing you well, sweet Patter, my friend!
*
Be sure to check back tomorrow for more ideas and blog hoppin' fun!
Plus... I will be giving away more BLOG CANDY
in celebration of Patter's decision!
I'm not celebrating that TTS will be no more.
I'm celebrating Patter's decision to OBEY.
Thank you for your example, sistah!

Triple the Sketch #72

Yes, smile today!
Lately, I've had some people treat me in ways
that make me NOT want to smile.
So I really like this page.
It not only reminds me to smile by what it says
but also because when I see my precious little guy and gal
discovering God's goodness, mmmmm
I am filled with joy that makes me smile!
Praise God!
*
Triple the Sketch is filled with JOY for God's goodness
and that is one of the reasons it is my favorite DT to be on!
Jesus is Lord and TTS shouts it!
Check out all the shouting as well as
this weeks sketch and more inspiration at the TTS site...
http://triplethesketch.blogspot.com/
*

In the words of FFH...
"Say 'hey, it's a good day' even if things are goin' my way
Jesus is Lord and I am saved so...
say 'hey, it's a goooooood day!"
*
May you have a "good day!"

Thank You With LOVE

I just had to say THANK YOU once again
to my friends at SHIMMERZ
for treating us gals on the design team of TTS.
My card has all kinds of Shimmerz goodness on it.
*
First I spritzed my 4 Leaf Clover Spritz
around the edge of my circle.
Then I colored in my "LoVe" with a #2 paint brush
using the same 4 Leaf Clover Spritz.
SO easy and SO adorable!
*
For my card, I also used
SU!'s new Melon Mambo card stock and ribbon. Yum!
With that I used Handsome Hunter and Basic Black.
Anytime I paint with a medium such as Shimmerz Spritz,
I always HEAT EMBOSS my image first.
This way the paint is sure to stay within the lines
of the embossed image.
In this case, I used Basic Black Craft Ink and Crystal Clear EP.
*
My card was inspired by Sketch #71 at
Triple the Sketch
and you can check it out here...
Also be sure to stop by the Shimmerz site here...
so you can see even more inspiration!

I wish you could see the blingy fun these
Shimmerz paints create!
My photos just don't do them justice!
My "LoVe" is sparkling like all get-out and I LOVE it!
*
Hope your day "shimmerz" today!
Blessings,

Triple the Sketch #71

And yet another week passes while Triple the Sketch
inspires us with yet another fabulous sketch!
I feel the need to once again say
THANK YOU!
Thank you for sketch #71!
Be sure to check out this sketch and more inspiration here...
*
I have another thank you to extend...
*
Thank you to SHIMMERZ Paints!!!
Shimmerz is the TTS sponsor this week.
They have a fabulous assortment of paper paints
that add all sorts of color and bling to your creations.
Visit their site here...
The flower you see above was spritzed with some "Spritz" paint.
It is so much lovelier in real life!
The photo just doesn't show the bling like I wish it would.
However, would you like to know
how to make your own paper flowers like this one?
Then visit the Shimmerz site and go to
"Tips and Tutorials."
That's what I did! and look what I learned!
*
So sit down for a few minutes today and use this great sketch!
Make a card. Preserve a memory.
and ENJOY!

Triple the Sketch #70

Thank you Triple the Sketch for
Sketch #70!
I LOVE it! and this page as well!
Take a look below and you can compare the sketch to my page.
I twisted the sketch as you will see.
Or visit the TTS site here...
And I have yet another THANK YOU today...
*
*
a BIG TY... to my beautiful gal and her beautiful heart!
She recently donated her hair to Locks of Love
for the SECOND TIME!
I wish my hair would grow like this!
I think her hair is gorgeous short OR long.
She prefers it long so you know it's quite a sacrafice.
Can you imagine the recipent's reaction ot all those curls?!
*

May you be blessed today for the sacrafices you make!

Triple the Sketch #69

Oh, I had fun with Sketch #69!!!
My photos made this one SO EASY!
I kept looking at the finished page thinking,
"That was too fast... perhaps I need to do more...
but it looks so cute the way it is...
should I do more...
naaaahhhh."
*
Sometime, the less Patter at TTS puts on her sketches
the more challenging I find it to create with.
(Although I LOVE a good challenge. wink.)
So this one just seemed so easy peasy to me.
Thanks, Patter!
*
Did you know Triple the Sketch posts TWICE in one week?
Friday is for scrapbook pages inspiration
and Saturay is for cards and other treasured items.
So head over there now
but be sure to check it out tomorrow as well!
*
Hope you have as much fun today as
my son and husband had in these photos...
and as much as I had taken them!
Blessings!

TTS Sketch #68

When I scrapbook,
I like to use as many photos as possible
on one or two page LOs.
I think scrapbook pages that focus on 1 photo
turn out really super cute,
especially if the scrapper has a real knack.
But I take so many pictures and
never can decide which ones to add to my albums.
So I try to use them all. he he.
*
Coming up with new LOs can be very challenging
with mutliple photos.
UNLESS...
you visit TTS
on a regular basis.
A new sketch each week with
samples that go BEYOND scrapbooking.
*
One way I manage to add several photos to one LO
is by using WALLET SIZE photos.
As you can see, this is what I did here.
Let me know if you like that tip!
Have a great day!

TTS Sketch #67

These photos just crack me up!
These are "my boys" at Cub Scout Day Camp.
One of the counselors played some H2O games.
At the end of his session,
he just started throwing the balloons straight up.
It was hillarious watching the boys!
*
Thanks to Patter at TTS
for Sketch #67!

TTS Sketch #66

This card ended up SO CUTE!
I can't wait to give it to someone!
*
When you are stumped on making a card
or putting together a scrapbook page,
be sure to visit TTS
Not only are there amazing sketches,
but the samples are quite incredible.
(and I'm not just saying that
because I am on the DT team!
Sometimes I have to pinch myself
because the other gals are SO talented.)
*
Check it out and be blessed!

TTS Sketch #65

A guest sketch artist blesses us today at TTS
It's our very own Alisa!
Thanks girl!
*
Sketch #65 looked like a bit of a challenge for me
...at first.
But once I got started on it,
like always, I am so thankful for TTS!
And the finished project turned out pretty darn cute!
Take notice on how I used the sketch for
INSPIRATION
but went a totally different route with the placing of items.

Check out Alisa's Sketch #65
as well as her inspiring artwork here...

TTS Sketch #64

Well, that only took FOREVER!
Not the acutal project...
just ME getting around to the project!
*
Let me explain
because I am sure you can relate...
Quite some SU! Regional ago,
Jared
(sniff)
showed us his very own "idea book."
I fell in LOVE with the concept
and immediately planned to create my own.
Good grief!
I can't even tell you how long ago THAT was!
*
I DID purchase a sketch book
and HAVE been adding little goodies
here and there such as...
color swatches, sketches, phrases, etc.
I just never got around to
altering it like I had wanted to.
*
WELL!
Once again
to the rescue!
With this really fun Sketch #64,
the book took me no time at all!
And now I LOOOOOOOOVE it!
*
Be sure to check out
for all the details.

May you feel the Spirit
feeding your creativity today!

TTS Sketch #63 and Happy Anniversary!

has another wonderful sketch available
to spark your creativity today!
I'm thrilled to bring you
Along with this sketch comes a
Happy Anniversary wish for
who happens to be celebrating one year
of business in the acrylic stamp industry.
*
Want to win a $50 gift certificate from
Pink Persimmon?
Click on "Sketch 63" above to find out
all the fun details!

I put this page together for the summertime
Bible study of "God's Good Gifts."
The very first lesson focused on the gift of self.
After studying a week of God's Word,
we gathered together and recieved instructions
to scrapbook a page out "ME."
*
Although Jesus IS the "key to my heart,"
I believe He has allowed many keys
be granted to me that have unlocked
His many treasures in my life.
Check back tomorrow for the
2nd page to this layout and find out
just what those keys have been.

Thank you again and again to
Pink Persimmon
for the sweet, sweet gifts.
I completely enjoyed stamping with
these adorable stamps!

I Still Love You

Inspired by TTS Sketch #62,
I couldn't help but make this
adorable card for my BFF.
We've been together now for
NINETEEN YEARS
and I DO still love him!
*
After my card was completed,
I couldn't help but be reminded of
God's great Love.
After so many mistakes
and times that I neglect Him,
He tells me
"I still love you."
*
"For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present,
nor things to come,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us
from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:38
*
May you know Him
and His love for YOU.

TTS Sketch #62

Thanks to Patter over at
the hardest part of creating
is all done for us!
AND thanks to the incredibly talented
Design Team (he he, that's me)
the rest of the creating is done for us as well.
*
Patter comes up with the sketches
while the Design Team
feeds in inspiration.
DIVINE inspiration, that is.
Since Triple the Sktech is a
CHRISTIAN based papercrafting site,
you can always feel God's love
while you're there.
*
I just LOVE it!
I know you will as well.
Check it out!
*
Here is my take on
Sketch #62
this week.
Thank you to
for all supplies on this page.
Have a blessed day and be sure to
