Royal Wednesday Blog Hop and Farewell

You should be hopping FROM...

http://www.kellystamps.blogspot.com/

Thanks for visiting!

If you are just starting the hop at my place,

be sure to visit here...

http://qkd.blogspot.com/

so you you can see all of the special projects

brought to you today by the fabulous DT at QKD!

*

Today's special inspiration is an ALTERED FRAME!

I just love altering items!

It's a great way to recycle!

And a great way to make unique gifts as well.

Plus, I just love how these sweet little treasures look

placed in little love spots around the home.

*

This frame came from the $$ Spot.

(LOOOOOOVE the $$ Spot!)

It was extremely easy to cover!

How about that "Apple Tree" by QKD?!

I stamped it in Creamy Carmel

and then "thumped" it with

More Mustard, Ruby Red, Elegant Eggplant, & Always Artichoke.

*

Sadly, this will be my last time hopping with the QKD gang.

I am moving on to focus more on my personal business.

QKD is a fun and funky stamp company

and Vicki (the owner) has been a blast to work with.

The DT (design team) is extremely talented

and when you continue to visit their sites,

no doubt, you will continually be inspired.

Remember to continue hopping on TO...

http://whimsicalinksorority.blogspot.com/

*

It has been more than fun!

Blessings to the ENTIRE QKD team!

And to YOU as well!  :-)

This stamp set may be long retired but I just love it still!

See, this is one reason why we look forward to the Retired List.

Time to grab those sets we just know we'll love forever!

But not yet!

The catalog is still good for long while

now that it is annual again.  Whoo hoo!

*

When you join my Stamp Club,

you have access to ALL of my current AND retired

Stampin' Up! stamp sets.

How fun is that?!

Want just a bit more info about joining Stamp Club?

Check out this link...

and this link...

and then email me today.

Hope to see ya there!

Enjoy Your Day!

Seems like just about everyone I know has the sicky ickies.

My son went to school this morning STILL not feeling 100%.

Poor little guy!

Now I've got it!  Well, I think I've had it for awhile

but it's just allergy junk.  And what's a girl to do?!  he he.

So my allergy meds have been refilled

and I think I might be good to go (for now anywho.)

*

So this card made me think of you today.

Yes, YOU!

I don't always say so...

and I probably say the wrong thing from time to time

(please forgive me when I do...)

Here is hoping you are feeling well

and that you

ENJOY your day... life!

Royal Wednesday Inspiration Blog Hop

You should be hopping over to my place FROM...

http://www.kellystamps.blogspot.com/

but be sure and start from the beginning at...

http://qkd.blogspot.com/

so you can see everyone's take on the inspiration photo.

When I found this photo for Maria, I just KNEW

it would be fabulous inspiration for the fall season!

Unfortunately, the only fall stamps I have from QKD are of apples.

Sigh... no pumpkins.

I can't wait to see what the rest of the DT puts together!

*

I love the photo.  It's clean and crisp, just like fall.

You can see from my sample,

I decided to pull some of the "not so noticable" items from the photo.

Notice the sweet little teddy bear on the sofa?

And how about those fabulous starfish on the loft beds?

Thus, my card...

Now hop on over TO...

http://whimsicalinksorority.blogspot.com/

and have fun hopping!

in ANY design you choose!

TIME IS RUNNING OUT!

Always Stampin'

 http://alwaysstampinwithkelly.blogspot.com/

God has been speaking to my heart lately

and I believe He is asking me to refocus a bit.

I will still post here from time to time

but you will mostly find me

Always Stampin'... always Stampin' Up!.

Stampin' to serve,

Ending with a BANG!

Ending my b-day posts with a "bang of BLING!"

Can you believe this amazingly sparkly greeting?!

JaJai80 with the Secret Sister SU! Demo group sent this one.

WOW!

She used the new "Medalion" background by SU!.

Isn't it lovely?!

Thanks so much, Jamie!

*

Bunny Birthday Keeps Going and Going and...

I've decided to share my birthday cards a few at a time

so you can really enjoy the goodness of them like I have.

The first one here comes from Robin (rajohnson323)

and the second one is from Amelia (msamelia)

over at the SCS game of Secret Sistahs for SU! demos.

I LOVE playing this game!

I've gotten so many great ideas from playing!

(Not to mention the fab friends I've made!)

You know... it's always a good time to join my SU! family.

Then you can be a sistah too!

*

*

I love the clear polka dotted overlay that Robin used on her card!

You can order some of these from the Holiday Mini.

(visit http://alwaysstampinwithkelly.blogspot.com/)

And both of these cards would be so easy to recreate!  LOVE that!

*

Thanks so much, gals, for making my bday even more special!

And for all of you visiting today... thanks also!

Blessings to all!

You can view yesterday's project as well as TTS sketch #73 here...

my daughter's LOs are of her 6th grade farewell banquet!

OM, I need more tissues!  Seriously!

Why is it that all good things must come to an end?

*

*

Today, I am celebrating through my tears!

*

But be sure to check out all the info below...

I have some freebies information for you!

*

I simply can not tell you how sad and happy I am at the same time.

Being on the TTS design team was not only my absolute favorite

but it was also the biggest (BIGGEST) blessing.

And with all that SU! has been going through lately,

I was positive I wouldn't be giving up my TTS position.

*

God always has other plans, doesn't He?!

I trust Him completely...

even when I don't like it...

even when it doesn't make sense...

even when.

*

Being a part of CBS myself,

I know what a huge and wonderful position Patter is taking on.

My congratulations go out to not only her but her whole BSF group!

Here's wishing you well, sweet Patter, my friend!

*

Be sure to check back tomorrow for more ideas and blog hoppin' fun!

Plus... I will be giving away more BLOG CANDY

in celebration of Patter's decision!

I'm not celebrating that TTS will be no more.

I'm celebrating Patter's decision to OBEY.

Thank you for your example, sistah!

Thanks for visiting!

Yep! Still Celebrating!

Yep!  You better believe I'm still celebrating!

After all, these cards are WORTH celebrating...

not to mention the kindness of the gals who sent them.

My friend, Ellie, thinks I must be a special gal

to have gotten all these wonderful greetings.

Not at all!

*

As a matter of fact, this gives me the opportunity to brag a bit

on the generousity of the gals over at SCS.

I'm a part of a "secret sister" game through the SU! demo group

and most of these sweet b-day greetings are from

the "Birthday Babes."

(Kind of makes you want to be a SU! demonstrator, aye?)

(Email me!  I'll hook ya up!)

They really are a very generous group!

*

And some of the cards are from the RAK group.

The name of the group says it all...

Random Acts of Kindness.

If it weren't for my cyber-friends,

my b-day would have come and gone.

*

The first card here is from Dottie (Grandma Dottie)

and the second is from Colleen Cole.

Thanks so very very much, gals!

You made me feel so special!

Blessings!

Royal Wednesday Blog Hop Sketch

If you've never participated in a "blog hop,"

you really should try it now!

(Just to let you in on a itty bitty secret...

you don't have to read all of the loooooong posts.

Sometimes you may want to so you can learn a new tip or two.

When you are short on time,

you may want to just check out all the amazing inspiration.)

Blog hops are a GREAT way to get new ideas!

*

Yes, yes, I love my sketches!

Can you see how I used this QKD sketch by changing it up a bit?

I love doing that! My card looks totally different than the sketch.

Isn't that fun?!

*
