"Septen-ten-tenber" Stamp CAMP

Fall is upon us (even though the heat is still hangin' around!) This time of year for us stampers here means it's "ten-ten-ten" time. TEN CARDS that take LESS THAN TEN MINUTES EACH to create for just TEN DOLLARS! This is one of the fun cards we will be stampin' up. (See the other just below.) I love this one because it uses the Round Tab Punch to create the circle encasing the flower; very easy to do.
So for just $10 you can create five cards of this design and five cards of the next design (fun folding card below.) Keep them for your own greeting purposes or use them as gift sets. Christmas is right around the corner!
You will need to RSVP for this event. You can pay when you arrive, however, you MUST be certain you will be attending. I will have all supplies cut and ready for you when you arrive. Call or email me today and save your spot.

Register and pay for the "Box"tober Stamp Camp (Saturday, October 13th from 10am to 12noon) and receive a $10 coupon toward October's Card Camp (photos shown above.) You will be stampin' TEN CARDS FOR FIVE BUCKS! That's a huge deal, stampers!!! You must register and pay for the "Box"tober camp before September 30th. Call or email me today to save your spot.
To see all ten cards up close and personal, you will have to attend Stamp Club this Sunday, September 30th from 2:00 to 6:00pm. These cards are just adorable! And how they match the boxes is just too stinkin' cute! (Not to worry, my blogger friends, pictures of each individual card will be uploaded next month.)

Let's All Cheer! 2-5-7-10...

Now THIS is a fun project!!! It's called the 2-5-7-10 box. It is incredibly easy to create!!! And Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper makes it even easier! I used "Apple Cider" papers from the Holiday Mini Catalog. (If you haven't gotten your mini catalog yet, you will want to attend Stamp Club on the 30th to pick up your copy.) I will be demonstrating this box at our next Stamp Club. Be sure to let me know you are coming. You just might win this gem!

Here are instructions for this box...
1. Begin with an 8.1/2 x 11 piece of card stock.
2. Score it (11" side horizontal) 2, 5, 7, and 10.
3. Turn card stock and score at 2 and 7.
4. Stamp card stock.
5. With the 2" scored section at the top, cut away all but one large section.
6. Cut slits on the scored lines of the 1.1/2" areas, trimming away smaller portion of tab.
7. Fold and assemble box with Sticky Strip.
8. Punch holes in top flap. Close and pencil mark holes on box. Punch holes on box.
9. Feed ribbon through holes.
10. Embellish and fill with goodies.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me. Or come to Stamp Club on Sunday, September 30th from 2:00 to 6:00. I will be demonstrating and giving away this bag.

Try a New Technique!

This fun little Holiday Greeting card showcases the "Mosaic Technique." I love this technique because it is easy and creates an amazing "WOW" effect. I recently demonstrated the Mosaic Technique at the Lousiville Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar. How much fun... for Stampin' Up! to kick off their regional trianings right here in my stompin' (and stampin') ground!!!

Below you will find step by step instructions for this great technique. Plus there is a little challenge in conclusion. C'mon! Try a New Technique!!! I have no doubt you are up for the challenge!

Mosaic Instructions

Step 1: Cut strips of colored card stock (two or three different colors about 1/2" wide) and one strip of DSP or patterned paper.

Step 2: Cut strips into little jagged pieces.

Step 3: Apply pieces to sticky side of sticker paper (found in most craft stores.)

Step 4: Sprinkle entire piece of sticker paper with embossing powder and heat.

Step 5: Trim excess peices from edges of embossed mosaic.

Step 6: Embellish project using gorgeous mosaic pattern.

You can email me if you have any questions. My email is found to the right near my picture.

So here is the challenge... TRY THIS TECHNIQUE AND SEND ME YOUR SAMPLE. I WILL SEND YOU A LITTLE GIFT IN RETURN. TRUST ME! YOU WILL LOVE THE GIFT! I WOULD LOVE TO SEE JUST WHAT YOU COME UP WITH!!! Send your mosaic card to: Gettelfinger Insurance, Attention Kelly, 330 East Court Ave. Jeffersonville, Indiana, 47130. C'mon! Everyone loves happy mail. Make me happy! I am looking forward to doing the same for you!!!

Get Organized!

Check out this fun planner created from a TWO POCKET FOLDER! Can you beleive it?! It's just a folder! You know, the ones that were just $.05 during the back-to-school sales? This one uses SU!'s fabulously yummy "Apple Cidar" Designer Series Paper found in the Holiday Mini Catalog. The folder was simply folded BACKWARD and then accordian folded foward on each side. There is a large open ended envelope cut just at the top for "receipts" and another cut just a bit more than half for "stuff." I also included some note paper (can you believe I found a matching clippy?!). And there is also a 2008 calendar with plenty of room for notes. I am LOVIN' this little planner! I can't wait to give it for Christmas gifts!
If you would like one of these fabulous planners, send me one of your hand-stamped greetings with $5 (to cover postage/handling. Send your card to: Attention Kelly Jean Gettelfinger, 330 East Court Ave, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. Can't wait to see what kind of fabulous design you select to send me. (I prefer ALL SU! product when creating a card for me. However, if you just aren't a SU! kind of stamper, I understand.)
