because God has poured out his LOVE into our hearts by the Holy Spirit..." Romans 5:5

This card is my take on her

I liked her card so well, I kindof kept it similar.
Great job, Wynne!

Keys to My Treasure

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."
Matthew 6:21
*
This is the second page to my TTS Sketch #63 layout.
You can find the first page here...
As I said yesterday, I truly believe God
gives us many keys to many treasures.
On this page about "ME,"
I will include a little note about each of those keys.
I treasure being each of these and
am grateful to have been each.
*
granddaughter
wife
mother
friend
sister
aunt
teacher
Believer
*
Check back soon to see the little notes
I have created to recognize each of these
treasures in my life.
*
The "and ME" area on my page is a "pocket"
where these "KEYS" to my treasures
will be enclosed.
To create a simple pocket for your pages or cards
simply use any size piece of card stock,
score three of the sides and
cut away the tiny corner areas where scored.
Apply adhesive to your scored areas
and add to your project.

TTS Sketch #63 and Happy Anniversary!

has another wonderful sketch available
to spark your creativity today!
I'm thrilled to bring you
Along with this sketch comes a
Happy Anniversary wish for
who happens to be celebrating one year
of business in the acrylic stamp industry.
*
Want to win a $50 gift certificate from
Pink Persimmon?
Click on "Sketch 63" above to find out
all the fun details!

I put this page together for the summertime
Bible study of "God's Good Gifts."
The very first lesson focused on the gift of self.
After studying a week of God's Word,
we gathered together and recieved instructions
to scrapbook a page out "ME."
*
Although Jesus IS the "key to my heart,"
I believe He has allowed many keys
be granted to me that have unlocked
His many treasures in my life.
Check back tomorrow for the
2nd page to this layout and find out
just what those keys have been.

Thank you again and again to
Pink Persimmon
for the sweet, sweet gifts.
I completely enjoyed stamping with
these adorable stamps!

Still...

Still thinking of my
dear neice and her sweet husband.
The butterfly just says it all.
We can be beautiful reminded
that Christ's resurrection
is the forefront of our own.
*
Thank you to those of you who left comments.
Especially those who shared similar stories.
You've blessed me!
Please keep my brother and his wife
in your prayers.
*
I love what this card says because
I truly believe my neice
will be that person for her very own family.
We can not "pray" our loved ones
into salvation BUT
we can certainly pray FOR them.
*
Butterfly kisses to you today!

Always...

Lifting my sweet niece, her dear husband,
my brother and sister in law
in prayer today.
The loss of a child, no matter what the age,
is such a sad and confusing time.
*
Just as the butterfly is recognized
as a symbol of Christ's resurrection,
I have no doubt this little babe
has flown straight into
the arms of God.
*
Please lift my family in your prayers today.
*
And if you are weary
or have a burden too heavy to carry,
know that He is waiting for YOU.
Matthew 11:28-30
"Come to me, ALL you who labor
and are heavy burden, and I will give you rest."
*
Grab a Bible and you read the rest.
Afterall, it's HIS love letter to you
not mine.

Magestic Monday

So I bought a bag of buttons
and these HUGE ones happened to be
in amongst the batch of buttons.
Talk about "out of this world!"
he he he...
I didn't think I'd ever use them
but "Space Girl"
is so cute and unique
that they compliment her nicely, I think.
*
Be sure to check out
for this cute and funky image
as well as tons more.

I Still Love You

Inspired by TTS Sketch #62,
I couldn't help but make this
adorable card for my BFF.
We've been together now for
NINETEEN YEARS
and I DO still love him!
*
After my card was completed,
I couldn't help but be reminded of
God's great Love.
After so many mistakes
and times that I neglect Him,
He tells me
"I still love you."
*
"For I am persuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present,
nor things to come,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us
from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:38
*
May you know Him
and His love for YOU.

TTS Sketch #62

Thanks to Patter over at
the hardest part of creating
is all done for us!
AND thanks to the incredibly talented
Design Team (he he, that's me)
the rest of the creating is done for us as well.
*
Patter comes up with the sketches
while the Design Team
feeds in inspiration.
DIVINE inspiration, that is.
Since Triple the Sktech is a
CHRISTIAN based papercrafting site,
you can always feel God's love
while you're there.
*
I just LOVE it!
I know you will as well.
Check it out!
*
Here is my take on
Sketch #62
this week.
Thank you to

NMBS Favorites Swap #2

Oh my...
I am in such a fabulous swap group!
Sometimes, I think I need to pinch myself
to believe that it is real. he he.
Seriously, the members of
NMBSwaps
are SO fabulously talented
I wonder sometimes how I ever
came to be invited to the group. (wink)
*
Here is my second card for our
recent Favorites Swap.
I just love "Puns from the Past"
but just don't use it often enough.
Perhaps because of the vintage sayings
or maybe because of the vintage look.
(My daughter saw this card and said,
"I don't get it." Too stinkin' funny!)
*
I wanted my card to show that you
don't have to create a "vintage look"
just because the images themselves are.
I "think" I succeeded.
*
Thanks for dancing with me today!
Your comments "perk" me up
more than you know!

Magestic Monday

Whoot Whoot, for you!
You are up and at them this bright
and Magestic Monday!
(I know it's tough but we'll get through it, he he.)
*
Used my "Hoot" stamp from
for this cute encouragment greeting.
*
You don't have to have a specific
reason to send a card like this.
I think I will send it to let
a friend know I've been thinking of her.
And when I think of her,
I think of how great it is that
she is my friend.
That is reason to
"Whoot Whoot!"
*
Have a great "whootin'" day!

TTS Sketch #61

WE BREAK FOR SPRING!
My take on Sketch #61
was really fun
to put together.
Are you just lovin' my fish?!
Ya, me too!
At first I thought, "maaayyybe."
And then when it was all finished I thought,
"How stinkin' cute is that?!"
To create him
just use three punches...
1. Marvy Giga Punch
2. Stampin' Up! Full Heart
3. Stampin' Up! Heart to Heart
Sponge the pieces before
you put them together.
*
Thank you to
for most of the supplies
to create this page.
Have a blessed day!
Matthew 4:19

Favorites Swap

As many of you know,
I belong to a fabulous swap group called
the NIMBEES.
We came up with the "Nimbees"
because that is how my sweet daughter
said "NMBS" would be pronounced.
Too funny and super cute, huh?!
*
Our most recent swap was a swap
of our favorite stamp sets.
Since we are all SU! demos,
all of our swaps focus on SU! merchandise.
And since SU! is my absolute
FAV STAMP CO.,
I LOVE this swap group!!!
*
This was one of my cards for the swap.
I used the Priceless stamp set
and Tea Party Designer Series Paper.
The large oval punch
made this card really simple to create.
*

Birthdays are for Wii!

Wii crazy... that's my kid! For his B-day he wanted a pair of "Wii PJs" like I don't think he has ever wanted any other gift. Too stinkin' funny, that kid is!

So our lovely friend, Lisa, decided she'd be the one to surprise him with his requested gift. Let me tell you... the kid's b-day was in MARCH and I think I've washed the silly pjs a total of maybe five times. (He hides them on me so I can't wash them. He says he is afraid I won't have them clean in time for bedtime.) Rolling!

Inspired by sketch #57 , thanks to Triple the Sketch, my page was super easy and fun. Check out Right at Home Scrapbooking for all other fun details like patterned paper, embellishments and such.

My "Super" Daughter

I just had to do a bit of braggin'
today on my super talented gal!
She made this card for her
wonderful teacher
Mrs. Cooper
("Super Cooper")
as an end of the year gift.
And yep, she made the apple as well.
(FINALLY, she broke out the clay
she got for Christmas two years ago!)
She is such a talented little gal!
